Aircraft interiors

In Germany very large cast magnesium wheels were manufactured in large numbers.




Westland Aircraft made helicopter forgings from ZK30.
Magnesium forgings were in widespread use from 1935-1970 for many aircraft components.

Using a variety of Dow developed magnesium alloy, the US military made entire airframes. The wing above was proof of concept.
